Motion System & Process

A global event system begins with aligning teams around a shared point of view. Before defining how Summit should move, we established a set of motion principles that gave every region a common understanding of the identity's intent, regardless of where it would ultimately be brought to life.
Centered around Upward and Fluctuation, these principles became the foundation for every motion decision. More than visual direction, they established a shared philosophy that united production partners around a singular vision of how the Summit identity should behave across the world.
With the principles established, the system expanded into a detailed set of motion techniques that translated intention into execution. These techniques defined how motion should be applied across layouts, transitions, pacing, and interactions, giving teams a practical framework for building consistently.
By connecting every motion decision back to the broader principles, the system ensured regional flexibility never came at the expense of a recognizable Summit identity.
Supporting a global event at this scale required more than creative direction. It needed governance that could travel just as easily as the identity itself. Comprehensive guidelines became the single source of truth for teams and partners working across regions, time zones, and production environments.
Whether the work was produced in EMEA, APAC, LATAM, or North America, every team was working from the same motion foundation.
